COLUMBUS, Ind. – The first event in the Columbus Indiana Philharmonic’s 2024 World Class Jazz Summer Series, “Jazz at Helen’s,” is Friday, May 31, at 7:30 p.m. at Helen Haddad Hall. Pavel and Direct Contact, known for energetic and fiery performances much like today’s Latin Jazz world, is the entertainment.
The group is led by internationally known Dominican pianist and Chicago Music Awards nominee Pavel Polanco-Safadit and includes Indy Jazz Hall of Famers, studio musicians, Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra players, and international artists.
The “Jazz at Helen’s” series will also include performances by the Bleu Django Quinet on June 28, and Kelleen Strutz on August 16.
Tickets are on sale now at the Columbus Indiana Philharmonic website. Single evening tickets are $45 and series tickets can be purchased for $120.
