NORTH VERNON, Ind. — If you have driven through downtown North Vernon in the last week, you may have noticed the old PNC Bank building on the corner of East Walnut Street and Madison Avenue being gutted. It is, however, for good reason.
After sitting empty for several years, a local business will be moving its corporate offices into the building.
Mayor Shawn Gerkin is working with the business on the parking lot in the back of the building and a redesign proposal was done to accommodate more parking.
More details will be released soon.
