COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation (BCSC) recently announced the appointment of Dr. Erin Stalbaum as the new Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources. Dr. Stalbaum will officially assume her new role starting July 1,
She comes to BCSC from the Monroe County Community School Corporation, where she contributed to the strategic planning and implementation of student-centered policies.
“Dr. Stalbaum’s appointment comes at a crucial time as BCSC continues to evolve to meet the needs of our students and our community. Her extensive experience and relationship-driven leadership are key to our ability to attract and retain the best educators,” said Dr. Chad Phillips, incoming Superintendent of BCSC.
Reflecting on her new role, Dr. Stalbaum said, “I am thrilled to become a part of and serve the Columbus and Bartholomew County community. Public schools serve as the foundation of an engaged, vibrant community, and I look forward to working with and supporting those who have chosen to serve our public schools.”
Before Monroe County, Dr. Stalbaum spearheaded developments at Kokomo School Corporation, where she led multiple schools to notable improvements in performance and student outcomes.
She also currently serves as an adjunct professor at Indiana State University.
