FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Franklin Police Department (FPD) is partnering with Kroger for “Pack the Cruiser” on Saturday, June 1, to help fight hunger in the community.
In advance of the event, FPD is accepting dry goods and canned donations until May 31, at the police station, 2801 N. Morton St. All food gifts collected will be given to Johnson County Senior Services.
Items requested include peanut butter, canned fruit/vegetables, macaroni and cheese, crackers, nuts, canned chicken/tuna, cereal, and more.
“Pack the Cruiser” will be held at the Kroger store, 970 N. Morton St., on June 1.
