GREENWOOD, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) says that a portion of Mullinix Road in Greenwood is closed until later this week.
As part of the I-69 Finish Line project, Mullinix Road is closed at Smith Valley Road, and roundabout movements are reduced for poured-in-place concrete pavement.
The closure is necessary to allow poured-in-place concrete pavement enough time to cure before all movements of the roundabout are fully open to traffic.
The official INDOT Mullinix Road detour is to follow Morgantown Road.
At the roundabout:
- Eastbound/Westbound movements on Smith Valley Road remain open
- Eastbound Smith Valley Road to Northbound Mullinix Road is closed
- Eastbound Smith Valley Road to Southbound Mullinix Road is closed
