WHITELAND, Ind. – The Whiteland Farmers Market continues to seek vendor applications for the 2024 season. Officials recently announced that the market is relocating and partnering with the Johnson County Public Library (JCPL) – Clark Pleasant Branch.
It will now be held at 350 Clearwater Blvd., in the library parking lot. The market will be held on Tuesdays, June 4 – August 27, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
“Our vision is to provide a local marketplace where food-inspired growers, producers, and businesses can prosper while offering our community the experience of locally grown food and handcrafted items”, said Carmen Young, Director of Administration for the Town of Whiteland.
Young adds “JCPL is the perfect venue to host the market because it not only supports their mission, they have a prime location along US 31 that provides excellent visibility. We are thrilled to welcome the Farmers Market to the Clark Pleasant Branch this year.” For vendor applications, email FarmersMarket@whiteland.in.gov or go here.
Clark Pleasant Library branch manager Davin Kolderup said “JCPL knows our patrons will love having access to fresh produce and other hand-made, home-grown products from local vendors, and we hope that folks shopping at the Market will stick around to visit the Library.”
