COLUMBUS, Ind. – Nonprofit organizations in Bartholomew, Jackson, Jennings, and Decatur counties serving aging adults and special needs populations can now apply for grants from the Voelz, Reed, and Mount Foundation. Applications are open through May 17.
The funding is meant for projects and programs positively impacting the lives of special-need populations, senior citizens, and their families. Grants will average $500 to $1,000 each. Recipients will be announced in June.
The foundation has awarded nearly $14,000 since 2022 when the local law firm partnered with Heritage Fund to establish the business foundation to give back to the communities in the counties in which they do business.
“We couldn’t be more happy about the impact of the Voelz, Reed, and Mount Foundation over the past two years. Establishing the foundation with Heritage Fund has connected us with wonderful organizations serving aging adults,” said Lora Mount, Voelz, Reed, and Mount co-owner.
