FRANKLIN, Ind. – The City of Franklin and Franklin Parks and Recreation Department is providing a special opportunity for “growers” to help provide produce for the Interchurch Food Pantry of Johnson County.
As a result of an upcoming community garden improvement, a limited number of 4×12-foot raised garden beds available are for community residents, groups, and clubs who would like to grow produce to donate to the pantry.
The Franklin Community Garden, located at the corner of S. Main and South Streets, is undergoing an enhancement during March providing raised 4×12-foot garden beds creating a structure for planting vegetables for your home and to share with the pantry.
