COLUMBUS, Ind. – Bartholomew County Public Library (BCPL) is gearing up for its inaugural Promject Runway, an event designed to offer local teens a memorable and cost-free prom shopping experience.
Thanks to generous contributions from local partners, BCPL has assembled a diverse assortment of dresses, so attendees have many choices to fulfill their prom dreams.
This inclusive initiative aims to remove financial barriers, allowing all Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation (BCSC) teenagers to enjoy the prom experience they envision. The event promises to be accessible and free for all participants.
As preparations for Promject Runway are underway, BCPL is reaching out to the community for additional donations of prom attire, including dresses, shoes, suits, and ties. Those interested in supporting this cause can drop off their donations at the teen department located within the Columbus Branch.
While the date for Prom 2024 hosted by BCSC has yet to be officially announced, historically, it has typically taken place during the first weekend in May.
