COLUMBUS, Ind. – South-Central Indiana can expect 1-2 inches of snow on Thursday night through midday on Friday, according to Bartholomew County Emergency Management (BCEM) and the National Weather Service (NWS) in Indianapolis.
A winter weather system will lead to snow accumulations over portions of west-central, central, east-central, and south-central Indiana.
Counties affected include Bartholomew, Johnson, Jackson, Jennings, Brown, and Decatur.
With cold air present, even small accumulations could lead to slippery road conditions.
NWS and BCEM say to use extra caution if traveling, and advice motorists to plan for extra time on your Friday morning commute.
