COLUMBUS, Ind. — The Columbus Fire Department (CFD) has announced the retirement of firefighter Scott Stam, a 35-year veteran of the department. He joined CFD in 1988.
Firefighter Stam has been a longtime supporter of the Columbus Firemen’s Cheer Fund and has held several positions within the Cheer Fund organization throughout his career.
He retired from his assignment, at fire station #6 on Battalion C, last Saturday, January 14.
The Columbus Fire Department expressed its gratitude to Stam for his service to CFD and the community.
