COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus Firemen’s Cheer Fund crew has been working hard all year collecting toys and gifts for the less fortunate children in the community. The mission culminates this weekend, as the big day is finally almost here.
Delivery Day is this Saturday, December 16. Thanks to you, hundreds of kids will get something for Christmas, that perhaps they might not have gotten otherwise.
Volunteers are needed in their trucks, vans, and cars to ensure all of the children in Bartholomew County receive their presents in time for Christmas.
If you are interested in helping, show up at 2674 Verhulst St. in Columbus and follow the line of vehicles (see map below). Doors open at 8 a.m. for volunteers passing out gifts. Stay in your car and you will be loaded up.
