FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Franklin Police Department (FPD) and Toodleydoo Toys are still accepting donations for its 6th annual Christmas Toy Drive. The original deadline of December 1 has been extended until Monday, December 11, so that as many families as possible can be helped.
They are accepting new unwrapped toys and clothing for all ages. Both businesses and individuals may contribute so that hundreds of less fortunate children can have a Christmas this year.
Toodleydoo Toys makes it easy. Shop their store and get 20% off on Christmas Toy Drive items. They will deliver your gift to FPD for distribution. Shop toodleydootoys.com and use the code “FPD” for your discount.
Drop off your toys at Toodleydoo Toys, 1 W. Jefferson St., or the Franklin Police Department, 2801 N. Morton St.
FPD is hosting a community wrapping party to wrap the donated items for the families on Tuesday, December 12, at 5:30 p.m., at the Franklin Police Department.
If you or someone you know would like to be a toy drive recipient, pick up the required form at FPD and return it. Or you can email: communityparntership@franklin.in.gov and one will be sent to you.
