WHITELAND, Ind. – The Whiteland Fire Department was dispatched to a possible residence fire on Sawmill Road, south of Whiteland Road, on Wednesday at 10:45 a.m.
Upon arrival, firefighters found a mini-barn in a backyard heavily involved and spreading to a pergola nearby. Crews quickly extinguished the flames before they could extend into the residence.
Officials with the Whiteland Fire Department said there were no injuries.
The Greenwood, City of Franklin, and Bargersville Fire Departments assisted.
