JENNINGS COUNTY, Ind. — Jennings County is in need of referees for soccer games as they currently only have two who are licensed, according to Brad Barber.
As a result, the state will have to start moving home games to bigger cities that have referees.
Instructions for becoming a referee can be found here. According to the “How to Become a Referee” instructions, you will need to get signed up and work on the modules.
At least 10 students will need to complete the online work (Step 1) before an on-field training class can be scheduled. Adults will need to complete a background check and safersports before attending.
