COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Bartholomew County Highway Garage says portions of three county roads will be closed this week for full-width asphalt overlay.
On Thursday and Friday, September 21 and 22, County Road 500S, between County Roads 1000E and 1200E, will be shut down to all through traffic from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., each day.
County Road 300N, from County Roads 1125E to 1200E, will be closed to all through traffic on Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
And, Friday, County Road 425E, between County Roads 250N and 350N, will be shut down to all through traffic on Friday, September 22, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Be patient with road workers and avoid these areas if at all possible as extremely long delays are expected.
One other note, Milestone Contractors has canceled the closing of County Road 400S/850W, from the Brown County Line to Bellsville Pike that was scheduled for Thursday, September 21.
