SHELBYVILLE, Ind. – The Shelby County Sheriff’s Department has released more information on last Friday’s accident, on State Road 9 south of Shelbyville, that took the life of one individual.
Troy Tillison, 54, of Shelbyville, was northbound on S.R. 9 when, for an unknown reason, his vehicle went left of center and hit a dump truck. It then made contact with a box truck, according to law enforcement. His car came to rest off the east side of the roadway. Authorities pronounced Tillison dead at the scene.
Neither of the truck drivers was injured in the incident.
