A Seymour Young Marine Troop is getting close to its goal of attaining 1000 stuffed animals to be shared by local hospitals. This Saturday, the troop accept stuffed animals for the “Stuffed With Love Campaign” at Walmart on Whitfield Drive, in Columbus, from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Research shows that a new stuffed animal companion can calm a child and help them feel safe and not alone. Also, any new stuffed animal can be dropped off at ATI Rehab Clinics in Columbus, Seymour, and Franklin.
