INDIANAPOLIS – The continuous Medicaid enrollment requirement that was in effect during the COVID pandemic ended on March 31. This means that states, including Indiana, will begin terminating Medicaid services for people who no longer meet eligibility requirements.
If you are uncertain about your continued eligibility, there are several things you should do:
Update contact information. Make sure Medicaid has your current mailing address, phone number, email, or other contact information @ fssabenefits.in.gov.
Check your mail. Indiana Medicaid will mail you a letter about your Medicaid or CHIP coverage. It will let you know if you need to complete a renewal form to see if you still qualify for Medicaid or CHIP. Fill out the form and return it right away to avoid a gap in your coverage.
