COLUMBUS, Ind. — Thrive Alliance recently appointed Brian Kushman to the position of Housing Project and Maintenance Manager.
In this role, Kushman will oversee the construction of new housing projects, the maintenance of current properties, and the supervision of paid staff and volunteers. He is also responsible for developing positive working relationships with state and local code enforcement personnel, state and local contractors, trade associations, and volunteers.
A graduate of Columbus North High School, Kushman served in the United States Army, then returned to Columbus and served for 21 years as an officer with the Columbus Police Force. He also ran his own small construction business and has more than 20 years of experience doing a wide range of home construction projects.
Kushman volunteers his time and talent to a number of local organizations, including ASAP/HUB and Bartholomew County Veterans Court.
