WALESBORO, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) has announced that contractors will close State Road 58, about two miles west of I-65 near Walesboro, beginning on or after Monday, March 13, to complete a small structure replacement project. The closure will last through late April.
The official INDOT detour follows State Road 58 to State Road 258 to State Road 11 to I-65.
Milestone Contractors LP was awarded the $2.7 million contract that includes two superstructure replacements on S.R. 58 near Spraytown in Jackson County.
Motorists should slow down, use extra caution, and drive distraction-free in all construction zones. Work is weather-dependent and schedules could change.
