NORTH VERNON, Ind. – Law enforcement work is more than making arrests. Yes, police “protect,” but the Jennings County Sheriff’s Office showed how they also “serve.”
On Monday night, deputy Morgan Gabbard encountered a vehicle on the side of the road with a flat tire. When speaking to the elderly female driver, Gabbard soon realized that she was lost and confused.
Because the vehicle was in an unsafe location, Pearson’s Body Shop and Towing towed it to the sheriff’s office where deputy Max Marcoux changed the tire.
The Clarksville Police Department located the woman’s family members and she was safely returned to them.
