NORTH VERNON, Ind. – As part of a drug investigation, the Jennings County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) was granted a search warrant on a residence in Vernon Township.
JCSO served the warrant on Thursday, January 12, at 6:30 a.m. and made contact with five individuals.
During the search, deputies allegedly found one-half ounce of Fentanyl, articles related to the sale of illegal narcotics, methamphetamine, syringes, drug-related items, LSD, and marijuana. All five were arrested.
Kimberly Earl, 38, of North Vernon, was charged with dealing in a narcotic drug, possession of a narcotic drug, possession of meth, maintaining a common nuisance, violation of the legend drug act, possession of paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana.
Billy Cathey, 50, of North Vernon, was booked for possession of meth, maintaining a common nuisance, violation of the legend drug act, possession of paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana.
Kayla Harding, 31, of North Vernon, was jailed for possession of a syringe, visiting a common nuisance, possession of paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and a Jackson County warrant.
Justin Spaulding, 29, and Jason Nantz, 43, both of North Vernon, were charged with visiting a common nuisance.
