COLUMBUS, Ind. – Bartholomew County Works (BCW) is presenting a week-long Job Readiness Training Workshop beginning Monday, January 23. The deadline to apply for the workshop is Tuesday, January 17.
BCW is a program that is committed to helping members improve their lives, gain full-time employment and achieve economic self-sufficiency. The extended support team provides resources to those accepted into the program in a wide range of areas including transportation, finances, attire, and more. These active services continue for a minimum of the first year on the job.
Participants are required to attend a weeklong workshop from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Workshop topics include resumes, applications, interviews, goal setting, money management, and many others.
