FRANKLIN, Ind. – Due to the increasing number of respiratory illnesses in the community, Johnson Memorial Health (JMH) has updated its visitor policy.
The hospital said that while they are respectful of patient needs, including visitation, those needs need to be balanced with health department guidance, as well as health and safety concerns of other patients, visitors, and hospital staff.
JMH asks that visitors likewise be respectful of the community’s health and may ask anyone refusing to follow masking, visitation, and safety protocols to leave.
Some of the new visitor policies include wearing a mask, being 18 years of age or older, taking daily COVID/flu tests to enter, and having all inpatient waiting areas closed. See a complete list of the updated visitor policies here.
