SEYMOUR, Ind. — The Jackson County Public Library has recently installed lockers for after-hours materials pickup in Crothersville and Medora. The lockers were purchased with donations in memory of Wanda Butler and an annual grant from the library fund with the Community Foundation of Jackson County.
The Crothersville/Medora branches are not open every day of the week, so now library-goers can place holds and have their materials secured in a locker outside the library for pickup before the library opens or after it closes.
To use the service, library cardholders may choose the lockers as a pickup location when placing items on hold using the Evergreen Indiana website or app. The cardholder will be contacted via email or telephone before placing the already-checked-out items in a locker.
