NORTH VERNON, Ind. — Officers with the North Vernon Police Department (NVPD) executed a search warrant Monday night that led to the arrest of a Jennings County man on various gun and drug charges.
Law enforcement served the papers at around 11:30 p.m. to David Carr, 43, at an apartment in the 400 block of East O&M Avenue. During a search of the residence, police allegedly found 12 grams of methamphetamine, a .22 caliber rifle, marijuana, other THC products, and a large amount of drug-related items.
Carr was arrested, transported to the Jennings County Jai, and charged with possession of meth, possession of a firearm by a felon, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of a syringe, possession of paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana.
