COLUMBUS, Ind. – Exhibit Columbus has announced the four recipients of the prestigious J. Irwin and Xenia S. Miller Prize. The award was created in 2016 “to honor studio-based practitioners whose work is focused on improving urban environments through sincere engagement with communities.”
Through the two-year cycle, each Miller Prize Recipient will work with a paired institution to create an installation that will become a focal point of the 2023 Exhibition Columbus, set to open in August of next year.
The recipients are as follows:
- Tatiana Bilbao ESTUDIO partner with the Bartholomew County Public Library
- PORT will be partnering with the Mill Race Center
- Practice for Architecture Urbanism will work with the Columbus Department of Public Works
- Studio Zewde will be partnering with the Columbus Parks and Recreation Department
