COLUMBUS, Ind. — Officers with the Columbus Police Department (CPD) arrested two people in connection to an overdose that took place on Indianapolis Road in July.
Tiffany Marie Sculley, 34, of Brownstown, and Ryan Alex Self, 34, of Seymour, face charges for their roles in the fatal overdose of Ronald L. Smith. The pair was taken into custody on a preliminary charge of dealing in a controlled substance resulting in death, a Level 1 Felony.
Ronald L. Smith, 37, was found dead on Indianapolis Road in Columbus earlier this summer. Toxicology tests show he died as a result of fentanyl intoxication.
Sculley was arrested Monday and taken to the Bartholomew County Jail. Self was already an inmate at the Jackson County Jail. CPD says formal charges from the prosecutor’s office are pending review.
