COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation (BCSC), in an open letter to BCSC families on its Facebook page Tuesday, posted pertinent information about the upcoming 2022-2023 school year.
They recognized there was some confusion about the first day of school this year and confirmed that the first day for all BCSC students is Thursday, August 4. Wednesday, August 3, is a teacher day (no students).
There was an old three-year calendar that reflected a different start date but was modified when BCSC School Board members approved changes to the schedule for staff professional days. All old calendars have now been removed from the files of the website.
A new three-year calendar will be uploaded Wednesday and can be downloaded on the same page. If any staff member, student, or family has a question, they are asked to use the following steps:
