INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana DNR Law Enforcement is hosting two conservation officer recruiting events this Monday and Tuesday, May 23 and 24, for District 6, which includes Bartholomew, Johnson, Brown, and Shelby counties.
The May 23 meeting is at DNR Fire Headquarters at Morgan-Monroe State Forest, in Martinsville. The May 24 event is at the Bartholomew County Fairgrounds Conservation Building. Both start at 6:30 p.m. and cover critical portions of the Indiana Conservation Officer hiring process, including duties of a conservation officer, preparation for the written exam and core values training, and physical agility testing requirements.
Participation at either recruiting event does not guarantee you a position but should provide insight into the competitive hiring process.
To see if you qualify to be an Indiana Conservation Officer and to complete the pre-screen exam, see on.IN.gov/dnrlaw and click on Become a Conservation Officer.
