GREENWOOD, Ind. – City officials have announced the return of its annual Greenwood Pickleball Open on May 20-22. This is the fourth year for the popular event and follows on the heels of Pickleball and Pints on May 19.
The three-day event will be held on the pickleball courts in Craig Park, with men’s doubles matches on Friday, women’s doubles on Saturday, and mixed doubles on Sunday. Greenwood Mayor Mark W. Myers said, “These kinds of events bring enthusiasm and fun to our city.”
Nearly 150 pickleball players are already registered for the weekend festivities. All profits support the pickleball amenities within Greenwood. The winning and runners-up teams will receive gift cards from Dick’s Sporting Goods.
