COLUMBUS, Ind. – Bartholomew County Solid Waste Management District (BCSWD) has announced the dates for Senior Mulch and Compost Loading will be this Wednesday, March 23, and next Wednesday, March 30.
Senior citizens who live in Bartholomew County can get one pickup truck-bed-sized scoop of mulch or compost loaded for free on these dates from 8 a.m. to noon. Loading takes place at the Yard Waste Site behind the Columbus/Bartholomew Recycling Center, at 720 S. Mapleton Street. Residents do not need to stop at the BCSWMD office for a loading ticket.
