FRANKLIN, Ind. – At its annual meeting on Thursday, the Franklin Chamber of Commerce named its 2022 award recipients for excellence in business and the community.
The Community Service Award went to Kathy Ballou for leading the initiative to bring “The Wall That Heals Traveling Vietnam Memorial” to the city in June 2021.
The Community Impact Award was won by the Franklin Development Corporation for its residential and commercial grant and loan programs.
And, The Historic Artcraft Theatre received the Business Hall of Fame Award for the entertainment it has provided to thousands of area residents for 100 years.
The Chamber meeting also featured the Franklin State of the City Address by Mayor Steve Barnett.
