EDINBURGH, Ind. – The Edinburgh Community School Corporation (ECSC) is back to full in-person learning today, Monday, January 31. After the middle and high schools at Edinburgh went virtual last week, staff and student absences reportedly began to return to normal levels.
On Thursday and Friday of last week, the entire school system went virtual so that every building could be deep-cleaned before students return on Monday. ECSC officials hope the recent drop in absences and full sanitation of all buildings will allow for a smooth return to classrooms.
Officials at ECSC say they will continue to monitor virus data as they hope to begin reevaluating their mask and quarantine policies in the near future.
