COLUMBUS, Ind. – Ivy Tech Community College is collecting donations this week during its “Spooky Food Drive” in Columbus and Franklin. Articles donated go to the Ivy Food for Thought Food Pantry that provides meals, snacks, and hygiene products for students.
The second annual “Spooky Food Drive” is Thursday, October 28, from 10 to 11 a.m., at Ivy Tech Franklin, 2205 McClain Dr., and on Friday, October 29, from noon to 4 p.m., at Ivy Tech Columbus, 4475 Central Ave. Anyone wanting to donate can simply drive up to the collection site in the campus parking lots to drop off items.
Donations needed most include ramen, mac and cheese, popcorn, microwavable foods, granola bars, individual fruit cups, peanut butter, crackers, chips, Pop-Tarts, hand soap, lotion, shampoo, toothpaste, hair products, feminine hygiene items, shaving cream, deodorant, and detergent.
