COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus Police Department (CPD) took into custody a Bartholomew County man for supposedly driving while intoxicated after he was involved in a three-vehicle accident on Sunday evening.
Officers were dispatched to a property damage crash near 10th Street and Central Avenue at around 7:20 p.m. CPD noted that the driver of one of the cars involved in the crash, Matthew A. Baird, 19, of Columbus, appeared to be under the influence of an intoxicant.
