COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced that 5,476 residents were certified as having been diagnosed with COVID-19 in its Friday report for the 24 hours ending Thursday at midnight. So far 899,844 Indiana citizens have been infected with the disease over the last 18 months.
ISDH also verified an additional 22 deaths and now 14,330 residents have died from coronavirus.
Bartholomew County has recorded 9,963 cases, Jackson County totals 6,258, Jennings County confirms 3,2,86, and Johnson County has had 22,694 cases of the COVID-19 since the pandemic began in March 2020.
