GREENWOOD, Ind. – Now that Freedom Springs Aquatic Center in Greenwood has closed to humans for the year, dogs will be given a day to come and enjoy the water park.
Freedom Springs is hosting its annual Puppy POOlooza this Saturday, September 11, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Canines under 30 pounds can swim from 10 to 11:30 a.m., and those over 30 pounds are invited from 12:30 to 2 p.m.
All dogs have to be at least six months old and have current shot records upon entry to the event. Also, due to Health Safety Board Regulations, owners are not permitted to swim with the animals.
Admission is free but donations are being accepted. All monies collected from Puppy POOlooza this weekend will benefit the Humane Society of Johnson County.
