COLUMBUS, Ind. – On a beautiful night for high school football, Columbus North improved its record to 2-1. Columbus East is still looking for its first win of the season.
The North Bulldogs blasted Southport, 54-13, while Seymour nipped the East Olympians, 28-24; In other games, Perry Meridian edged Franklin, 21-19; New Albany crushed Jennings County, 48-6; and Brown County outscored Cloverdale, 54-14. Edinburgh plays this evening.
Next Friday, East travels to Jennings County, while North is at Roncalli and is the game of the week on MOJO 102.9. The pregame starts at 6:40 p.m., with the kickoff at 7 p.m.
