HOPE, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) alerts residents that a part of State Road 9, south of Hope, will be closed starting this Thursday, August 26.
S.R. 9, between County Roads 600N (Schaeffer Drive) and 450N (Hartsville Pike), will be shut down until September 30 for a small structure replacement over Horse Creek.
Motorists should plan an alternate route. The official detour follows S.R. 252, I-65, U.S. 31, and S.R. 46.
INDOT says the work project is part of the State Transportation Improvement Plan (STIP).
