INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Over the Memorial Day Weekend, the Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced that more than 2.5 million Hoosiers are now fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Daily vaccination rates have dropped off some since the beginning of April, but the most recent data presented by ISDH shows that over 5,000 doses were administered on May 29. In total, more than 5.1 million doses have been administered in Indiana as health officials continue to promote the effectiveness of the vaccines.
In Bartholomew County, almost 35,000 residents are fully vaccinated. Another 36,000 have received their first of two doses, and about 1,500 have been inoculated with the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
