COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus Farmer’s Market says the season will begin on Saturday, May 8, and continue every Saturday through September 18, at 123 Washington St., behind Columbus City Hall.
So that the market is safe, until further notice, organizers say they will take extra precautions in response to COVID. Masks are mandatory when customers are not actively eating or drinking. Prominent signage will be posted to promote social distancing and other hygiene practices. Vendors are required to have a sanitation station in their booths to use between transactions.
If individuals feel ill, or simply do not feel comfortable attending the market, we encourage them to stay at home and check out Market Connection, a tab on the Columbus Farmer’s Market website featuring vendors who have elected to provide contact info for their business to the public.
Ample parking is available and the city bus stops just one block away at Second and Lafayette Streets.
