COLUMBUS, Ind. – A local woman was arrested on four warrants after she lied about her identity while speaking with the Columbus Police Department (CPD) on Monday. Officers were called to the westside Walmart, at 10 a.m., about a customer acting suspiciously.
Police made contact with a woman who falsely identified herself. CPD later confirmed her true identity as Alexa Hicks, 29, of Columbus, and determined that she had four Bartholomew County warrants for her arrest.
Hicks was taken into custody, transported to Bartholomew County Jail, and preliminarily charged with false informing and the four Bartholomew County warrants.
