COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus East High School Food Pantry is open today, Friday, February 19, from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. for drive-thru/pickup/no contact distribution of pre-bagged collections of food. Officials say they have enough for approximately 240 families.
Featured items this month include five pounds of meat, peanut butter, jelly, a four-pound box of microwave popcorn, as well as the usual variety of canned and dry food items.
East High School is at 230 S. Marr Rd., in Columbus, and the pickup point is at door 31, in the west parking lot behind the school, near the tennis courts.
