FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office Public Safety Cadet Program is being restored. Sheriff Duane Burgess says the first session will be on March 10, at 6 p.m. at the sheriff’s department’s training center.
Cadets participate in many community events and training opportunities to learn more about law enforcement as a career. The program meets every month.
If you are between the ages of 14 and 21 and would be interested in becoming a cadet, contact Community Liaison Deputy Jim Engmark at jengmark@co.johnson.in.us or call 317-346-4622.
