FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Johnson County Public Library (JCPL) has added a new service to help library cardholders who are unable to leave their home due to illness, disability, or quarantine. The free program is “JCPL-to-Your-Door” and it is a contactless delivery service.
Cardholders can call their branch to request items that are delivered Monday through Friday. They are packed using stringent safety guidelines and are left at your door for a no-contact delivery experience. To return materials, cardholders may call their branch to schedule a pickup.
White River branch manager, Linda Kilbert said, “Our ‘JCPL-to-Your-Door’ mission is to connect people, resources, and experiences. We realize the pandemic has made it difficult for some people to venture out and pick up library materials.” Johnson County residents can apply for a JCPL library card here.
