FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Johnson County Recycling District (JCRD) has announced that three Christmas tree recycling locations are now available in Johnson County, giving residents the chance to properly dispose of their live trees from the holiday season.
The Johnson County Shrine Club, Center Grove High School, and Indian Creek Intermediate School are accepting Christmas trees until January 10. All decorations must be removed, and any plastic bag or covering used for transportation has to be taken off at the dropoff site.
This year, all JCRD Christmas tree recycling locations are also accepting wreaths, greenery, and shrubs.
