NORTH VERNON, Ind. – The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO), Pettit Sales, and Garlitch Ford have teamed up to hopefully bring joy to some Jennings County families. The goal of “Fill a Deputy Car,” now through December 22, is to not let one family go hungry or one child go without a Christmas gift this holiday season.
One JCSO car is parked at Garlitch Ford to be filled with non-perishable food items and another is at Pettit Sales for new or gently-used toys. The vehicles used for “Fill a Deputy Car” are only there while the businesses are open.
