WESTPORT, Ind. – Motorists in Decatur County are being advised by the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) that work will begin next week on a $2.8 million asphalt resurfacing project on State Road 3. An almost 10-mile stretch, between Westport and State Road 46, will be patched, milled, and repaved starting Monday, June 8.
INDOT says the Next level Roads project will be completed under lane closures with flagging, and is expected to wrap up by late August.
Drivers should slow down, use extra caution, and proceed distraction-free through all work zones.
